The thought occurred to me that the next government might be Fine Gael with Fianna Fail as the junior partners.
I would like to hear opinions on this premise.

We may be heading for a long stretch of bitter-pill politics. Maybe it might sweeten the pill a bit if some of those who got us into this mess suffer trying to get us out!

John, that would leave Labour out on their own as main opposition party. SF will hardly gain that many seats come next election
